I used the stick for 1.5, that's right, 1 1/2 weeks before the potentiometers started going out. When pulling back on stick, at about half way the R potetiometer would command full. This ultra-responsive cordless joystick features an easy-twist handle with aluminum trigger and weighted rubber base. The high-speed 2.4 GHz receiver (included) connects to your USB port to deliver reliable, lag-free performance up to 20' away. Other features include precise rudder control, 8-way hat switch and 10 programmable buttons.

First Impressions. After reading the others, I may change my review after time. I purchased this Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick without reading any reviews because I got it at a pretty good discount 10 Kuwaiti Dinar (about $35). So far I am very pleased. I only fly Microsoft FSX, and i am a beginner. I started FSX a couple of weeks ago with a cheap-o Genius stick. The Freedom is a solid stick. I have been using it for 3 months and it's still working like the first day I bought it. The construction of the stick feels solid especially for the price. The bundled Wingman software is fairly feature rich and very easy to use. You will notice that, when idle for a short time, the stick drops connectivity. This is to save battery life but I would have liked to be able to adjust the amount of time that that it takes for this to happen. When playing games… Read Full Review

Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick - I bought this stick for travelling because of the size. In GarageBand on your iPhone, set the length of the song section to Automatic to import the entire audio or MIDI file; otherwise, only the portion of the file that fits the current song section is imported. After importing the audio or MIDI file, you can make the song section longer. Sounds like a 1 off there! My 2.4 has been working for Years. My only niggle is one of the rarely used main body switches is Sticking. The Main X/Y axis are still fine
